Private Client Wills & Probate Tax & Trusts Solicitor
We would like to hear from a Private client Wills & Probate Tax & Trusts Solicitor to join us in 2025.
Our work includes high value local private individuals dealing with drafting and preparing Wills and Powers of Attorney, Estate and Tax planning, obtaining Grants of Probate and Administration and administering Estates and Trusts. We act for and advise a range of clients including private individuals, families, small businesses and larger enterprises on a range of private client matters. Some of our clients have instructed us for generations. Our Private Client department has a broad range of good quality work with good space and prospects to develop and expand.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2-5 years PQE and show strong client-facing skills, good knowledge and experience in a mixed private client working environment. A keen interest in the development and future pf the firm will be welcomed. STEP qualifications or working towards one is desirable.

Receptionist/Administrator Full time or Part time
- Conversing with clients in person, over the phone and emails, directing calls, taking accurate messages
- Managing on-site storage of documents and deeds, producing and managing invoicing for the storage of deeds
- Opening / franking post, making sure post taken to post office on time
- Updating the database, conducting file openings and AML electronic checks
- Stationery stock control and ordering
- Contributing to the smooth running of the office
- Managing ledger closing and off-site file archiving
- Excellent customer service, communication skills, able to handle difficult or stressful situations as they arise
- Awareness of client confidentiality and Solicitors’ Conduct Rules
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, attention to detail, accuracy
- Effective time management, multi-tasking skills, proactive, self-motivated, willingness to learn, able to prioritise work
